How to Prep Your Image for FB/WEB and Printing?

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR IMAGES FOR FACEBOOK, WEB AND PRINTING

If you struggle with your images being dull and loosing their colours when uploaded on Facebook or your website then you could follow these steps to improve how your images look on social media and also printed.

Go to your Action Set for Facebook, Web and Print HERE. All Actions by Dream Artsy contain FB/WEB/PRINT prep actions to speed up your workflow. Once you have your actions ready play Ready for FB/WEB action. This action will help you to sharpen your image and save the most of the colours for Facebook and Website platforms. 

Once the action has finished go to File--Export--Save for Web on Photoshop.

Set your image to save as PNG-24 and set all other options as in the screenshot bellow.

Once your image is saved please come back to your original image and save it as JPEG to send for printing or as TIFF/PSD if you want to continue working on your file later.

To save image for printing it is advised to save it as JPEG also to sharpen and to convert it to sRGB for better colours. Follow these steps:

1) Play action "Ready for PRINT" and adjust the opacity if needed

2) Play action "Flatten Image"

3) Play action "Convert to sRGB

4) Save your image as JPEG. We advise the settings as in the screenshot bellow

Once your image is saved please come back to your original image and save it as JPEG to send for printing or as TIFF/PSD if you want to continue working on your file later.
